Let's celebrate with ODBD's 4th Anniversary Release!!!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs 4th Anniversary Special Design Team Edition Release Blog Hop! If you got here from Kathy R's Blog , you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the ODBD Blog so you are sure to not miss anyone! If any links are lost along the way, you can always get the entire list of links from the ODBD Blog as well!

The bread sticks are so excited to be celebrating this special milestone in the life of ODBD! It is such a blessing to work for a company that brings glory to God in every stamp set created, and offers us the tools we need to do the same with every card we create! If you are a long term follower of ODBD, then you know that each year, the Design Team submits a favorite Scripture for the special anniversary sets, and those suggestions have been the sum total of all the "Scripture Collection" stamp sets in the store. This year, the special sets include our favorite Scriptures, but also quotes and sentiments that we feel would be great on cards or projects. I think you will find some of the most encouraging and uplifting words available in stamps in these special anniversary sets!

So now, here are the Details of the Anniversary Hop:

  • The Hop will run 8am EDT Mar. 17 until 8pm EDT Mar 18.

  • The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Mar 19.

  • Four hoppers will win a FREE ANNIVERSARY SET and One blessed hopper will win The Complete Anniversary Bread Basket Bundle!!!
Here is what you have to do to be qualified to win one of these prizes:

  • Hop to each designer’s blog and leave a comment

  • Return to the Our Daily Bread designs blog and leave a comment telling us that you completed the hop, making note if there were any you could not comment on.

  • Along with your statement that you completed the hop, leave some Anniversary wishes for Kelley and the gang at ODBD!

Hello on this sunny Wednesday!

Hello on this sunny Wednesday my stamping friends!  I have a quick and simple card to share with you all today that I have made using one of the March release stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs called "Sweet Friendship".  For this card, after I chose the sentiment, I was thinking what could I use to symbolize "carefully chosen". Well, I came up wit the dress form as when you choose your clothing before you buy it, you choose carefully, just like you would choose a friendship. Have a look and see

Recipe:

Paper:   PTI Rustic Cream, Fine Linen, Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist, Designer Paper My Minds Eye Sunshine

Stamps: ODBD Sweet Friendship

Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Vintage Photo, Memento Rich Cocoa

Accessories:  Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry, Fanciful Flourish, Spellbinders Labels 18, Tim Holtz Alterations die Movers&Shapers Mini Sewing Room, Wild Orchid Crafts Trellis rose, hand dyed seam binding, cream delicate lace, sunflower colored lace, ZVA Creative light blue half pearls

This is not a color combination I would usually choose, but I was pulling them all from this fabulous DP by My Minds Eye called Sunshine.   What do you think?

Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!

Hugs,

Let's have some fun and go on a "hunt" ...a flower hunt that is!

We are celebrating the 4th Anniversary of Our Daily Bread Designs! All this week we have special events going on over on the ODBD Blog, so be sure to check them out! Today we have something that we hope will be pure fun for all! One Dozen of the Bread Sticks have baked up a special game for you! We decided to shower ODBD with a bouquet of flowers, since flowers are one of the traditional gifts for a 4th anniversary. You will be collecting these flowers along the way, and creating a beautiful bouquet for Kelley and all of Our Daily Bread Designs!

We each have created a special card or project using at least one of our own personal ALL TIME FAVORITE ODBD sets. SIX of us will also have a special blog button with a special flower on it! (It will be labeled as a Designer's Flower Hunt Game, and will give the name of a flower.) Look for it in the designer's side bars of their blogs. HINT: I just might be one of the designers who has one... so look carefully! :)

To play the game:

  • Visit each designer listed below
  • Keep a list of each designer who has a special flower blog button. Write down the designer's name and the name of the flower they have.
  • When you have visited all 12, left comments and found the 6 flowers, send an email to Grace at gnywening@yahoo.com. Simply name the 6 designers who had the flowers and the flower they had.
  • Winners will be chosen randomly from all who email me with their list by 9:00pm DST Mar. 15th!
Now on to my project details:

Grace asked us to list our FOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE ODBD sets, and to use at least one on our project today. How can I possibly just choose 4? :D:D

Well.... I was trying hard, but some of you know that I just LOVE ODBD's Scripture Collections and Scripture Series stamps, so I just had to use a few more, not all of the stamps in the sets, but at least one, so please bear with me, alright?

For my project today, I used........

Faith

Scripture Collection 5

Brocade Borders

Fleur De Lis Borders

Scripture Collection 6

Scripture Series I

Scripture Series II

Full of Grace Collection     Faith

I know I went a little overboard, but I believe that with scripture we can encourage so many people. God always has the right words for any occasion and that is one of the main reasons why I LOVE the stamps I chose. I have lots more that  could have picked, but I would have had to list just about ALL of ODBD's stamps and that would have tied you to the computer all day, LOL!!

On to my project! I decided to make a scripture mini album and this is what I came up with. It is all about " F a i t h " in this one have a look

Yeah, a pretty big project, but I thought it would be awesome to just incorporate all of these scriptures that kind of remind  of the goodness of God. I hope I did not bore you. ;D

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Ripe Avocado, Dark Chocolate, Rustic Cream, Pink Paislee Bujterfly Garden (12x12 sheets)

Stamps: ODBD Faith, Scripture Collection 5, Brocade Borders, Fleur De Lis Borders, Scripture Collection 6, Scripture Series I, Scripture Series II, Full of Grace Collection Faith

Ink: ODBD Sunflower, SU Mellow Moss, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Old Paper, Memento Rich Cocoa

Accessories:

Spellbinders Labels 3,  Labels 5, Labels 6, Labels 14, Labels 16, Labels 20, Labels 23, Fleur De Lis Squares, Fancy Tags Two, Parisian Accents, Lacey Squares, Classic Circles Large, Twisted Metal Tags & Accents  , Classic Ovals Large, GrandLabels 4  ODBD Custom Tag Die, Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry Doily, Small Exotic Butterflies,  Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Prima flowers, Prima burlap eaves, Making Memories baubles, handmade stick pins, hand dyed seam binding, Kaiser Craft Copper half pearls, ZVA Creative butterflies flourish (gift from a very special friend ;D), handmade dangle char for the side of the album with LOTS of glass beads, charms, seam binding and tulle for the binding

Wheeew, thanks for bearing with me, I hope you've enjoyed my "a little different" project for today?!

I have used lots and lots of flowers, afterall this is a flower hunt game, so make sure you will look around and see if I am one of the flower you'll need for your bouquet ;D;D;D
